Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Company. By using our services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully as they outline your rights and obligations when engaging with our business.
1. Definitions
- Company – Refers to the service provider, its employees, and contractors.
- Client – Refers to any individual, landlord, property owner, business, or organization engaging Company’s services.
- Services – Includes all property compliance services provided by Company, such as Energy Performance Certificates (EPC), Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR), Gas Safety Certificates, Fire Risk Assessments, and Legionella Risk Assessments.
2. Service Provision
- Services will be carried out by qualified and accredited assessors.
- Reports and certificates are provided based on inspections conducted on the date of assessment.
- Company will make reasonable efforts to deliver reports within the agreed timeframe. However, unforeseen delays may occur, and Company shall not be held liable for delays outside its control.
3. Client Responsibilities
- The Client must provide safe, unrestricted access to the property on the agreed appointment date.
- Any relevant documents, keys, or permissions required to complete the service must be provided in advance.
- If the Client fails to provide access, a rebooking fee may apply.
4. Fees and Payment
- All service fees will be confirmed at the time of booking.
- Payment must be made in full upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Company reserves the right to withhold reports or certificates until full payment has been received.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- If Company needs to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, the Client will be notified at the earliest opportunity.
6. Limitations of Service
- Reports and certificates reflect the condition of the property at the time of inspection only.
- Company does not accept liability for hidden faults, issues not reasonably visible, or future changes in property condition.
- Recommendations in reports are advisory and must be acted upon by the Client to ensure ongoing compliance.
7. Liability
- Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
- Company will not be held responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of its services.
- Clients remain responsible for implementing recommendations and ensuring continued compliance with legal requirements.
8. Confidentiality
- All client information and property data will be treated as confidential.
- Reports will only be shared with third parties if authorized by the Client or required by law.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Amendments
- Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Clients will be deemed to have accepted the latest version when booking services after changes have been published.
